At The Hive, we’re proud to provide a fully-equipped, commercial-grade shared-use kitchen. Whether you’re launching a new business, perfecting a recipe, or completing a one-time project, our kitchen is designed to help you succeed. From state-of-the-art tools to ample workspace, The Hive’s kitchen offers everything you need to turn your culinary ideas into reality.
Can Use the Kitchen?
Our shared-use kitchen is perfect for:

- Organizations hosting culinary workshops or events
Availability
Our kitchen can be reserved during the following times:
- Sunday: Anytime
- Monday – Friday: After 4 PM
- Saturday: Anytime
Flexible scheduling allows you to work on your own timeline.
Cost
Application and Processing Fee: $30.00
The Application and Processing Fee includes facility tour and explanation of user fees and standard operating procedures.
Security Deposit: $75.00 (refundable)
The security deposit will be applied to any damage or breakage caused by misuse of equipment. This is a refundable deposit, which will be held while agreement is in place, and returned within one month of the termination of the contract.
User Fees: $25.00 per hour, with a maximum of 6 workers
Dry Storage Fee: $30 per month per 3 foot wide shelf
Refrigerated Storage: $45 per month for a whole shelf ($30 per month for a half shelf)
Frozen Storage: $25 per month for linear foot of shelf space; $50 a month per pallet stored at ByWay Foods Hub on Franklin St

The kitchen is designed with food safety in mind, featuring washable floors, meat thermometers, and a handwashing station.
Adaptable Space
With up to four workstations, the kitchen is ready for solo chefs or small teams.
